Can I change things on your templates?
Yes, you may change anything you'd like on them. All I ask is that you keep my link on the template and on all pages containing my work. Be careful when you mess around, though! You might screw something up. You also don't have to contact me if you change it, change away!
Do you take requests for layouts?
I sure do. If you have a new idea for a template I should make, just contact me and let me know or you can look at the Coming Soon page to see if it's already in the works. I also offer customs.
Do I have to know html to use your templates?
Just a tad! You have to customize my templates a little bit so of course you do. It's not hard though, I try to make my html as organized and as simple as possible, just for you. But knowing html and what you're doing with it couldn't hurt. There's more about it on the templates page.
Why are some of my links broken?
There could be a million and one reasons why this is. I won't get into all of that, just take a look at what a normal link looks like and copy/paste it exactly as it's seen. You should be good to go now:
Should I host my own images?
Yes! Yes yes yes. I host images for you but I refuse to guarantee that I'll always do that. They may be deleted without notice or bandwidth might be exceeded so your images might be dead for a while. A million and one things can happen so to be on the safe side it'd be best if you hosted them yourself. I gave you a great list below where you can host them, and I've also got this same list on every single one of my templates. Contact me if you run into a problem though and I'll try to help. If it's something having to do with coding then I can probably fix that but don't expect me to be superman and solve your problems if the problem is with the hosting site...simply because I can't do anything about it =(.
Well where should I host them?
Here's a nice little list of places. Just make your own account at any of these to host your images:
Village Photos
Tripod
Our world
Ink frog
AOL Hometown
ASP Host
Boom Speed
Data Zap
Emote
eSmart Start
Free Photo
Homestead
Image Magician
Image Station
It's My Site
iTools (Mac users only)
Fateback
Global Array
Graffiti
Let's Go
Neoagent

How do I make cast pages and link pages, ect?
It's very, very easy. You just simply create these pages just like you're making a normal entry. Before saving, you might want to change the html tag to something easy to remember, like "cast" or "links". Get it? After that, save the page just as normal. You'll want to get the address of that page...it should be something like: http://username.diaryland.com/name_of_page.html; To link to that page from your diary template, open up the template editor, and use the link format I gave above and simply put in the webaddress for that new page! Very simple!
What is a good way to organize my diary rings?
Copy the html above and change all CAPITAL letters to the ring that you've joined. Your ring will look like this:
last - random - list - next
Do you have any great links for html help?
I sure do! You might try these links: Html Goodies, Lissa Explains, W3 Schools, PageResources.com, Webmonkey, and Color Palette.
Can I use these layouts at Diary-X, blog, or other websites?
They should work for most anything you want them to. The only thing you need to do is change some tags and variables so they'll comply with whatever service you're trying to use. If you need help then just ask!
Can I pleeeeease link to you in a super-fly way?
Sure you can! If you want to be linked back, then just let me know! You can either use a normal text link or you can use this little button's html:

Can I just contact you for some help?
If none of these answer your question and you're positively positive that they haven't, then go ahead and email me. I most likely won't respond if you leave a question in the notes or guestbook. Sorry!
